We are the indigenous people who have living since ancient times in Cambodia. Today, indigenous people are living in 15 provinces amount there are 24 ethnic groups include of 25 provinces and cities in the Kingdom of Cambodia. According to the 2013 statistics of the total population indigenous people living in Cambodia, only 0.9 percent are less than the Chams minority and more than the ethnic minorities of Chines and Vietnames.
we are found mainly in the northeastern provinces of Ratanakiri, Mondulkiri, Stung Treng, Kratié, Kampong Thom, Kampong Cham, Kampong Speu, Pursat, Battambang, Siem Reap, Preah Vihear, Banteay Meanchey, Oddar Meanchey, Koh Kong, Preah Sihanouk. All are mutually intelligible there are three distinct dialects of Kreung, Brao, Kavet, Lun, Jarai, Tampoun, Kachok, Kraol, Mel, Bunong, Kuy, Suoy, Samre, Chong, Sa’och, Stieng, Ra’ong, Mnong, Rhade etc.
